Melio was founded by Giuseppe Flores dArcais and Daniel Coheur. Giuseppe has spent most of his career at the crossroad between media and information technology in both the public and private sector. After starting his career at AT Kearney Management Consultants he held various leadership positions at Philips Electronics, a.o. head of professional audiovisual solutions, Philips CDS, for Latin America, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. In 2005, he founded Bestv, now Motive Television, a media technology company which he listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2010, LSE: MTV. Besides his activities in the private sector, Giuseppe has been an advisor to Governments in media policy, information technology and innovation.
Daniel Coheur is an entrepreneur with a proven track record for expanding existing markets and creating new ones for technology based products. In 2003, he joined Syniverse Technologies to launch their European office and after receiving the highest performance rating 7 years in a row, Daniel was appointment Vice President Global Business Development. In 2010, the company was sold to The Carlyle Group and Daniel left shortly after to start Melio. Daniel is an advisor to various start-ups in Europe.Melio is headquartered in Luxembourg and has a development office in Barcelona and sales offices in Rome, Amsterdam, Buenos Aires and New Delhi.
